Oczywiście, rap-metalowcy Linkin Park byli zajęci.
To było mniej niż dwa lata od kiedy zrealizowany został ich debiutancki album Hybrid Theory, a oni już są pełni hitów, granych na szalonej ilości występach -- ponad 300 w samym zeszłym roku --  i otrzymać Grammy za najlepsze hard rockowe przedstawienie za Crawling.
Kłopot jest, kiedy spędzasz cały czas na kłuciu żelaza póki gorące, nie masz żadnej szansy na "rozgrzanie kolejnego żelaza". Więc, przypuszczalnie zrealizowany jako substytut, mamy teraz remixowy album Reanimation. Tak, właśnie tak -- rekord rap-rockowych remixów. Możliwe, jeśli jesteś fanem Linkin Park , będziesz chciał tą przerobioną wersję Crawling (wraz z Aaronem Lewisem ze stainda) i One Step Closer (z Jonathanem Davisem z Korna). Co do reszty tego wszystkiego, hmm, powiedzmy spędzamy dwa tygodnie na słuchaniu tej płyty całą noc.

Obviously, rap-metallions Linkin Park have been busy.

It's been less than two years since they released their debut album Hybrid Theory, and they've already had a handful of hits, played an insane amount of shows -- over 300 last year alone -- and copped a Grammy for best hard rock performance for Crawling.

Trouble is, when you spend all that time striking while the iron is hot, you never get a chance to put any new irons in the fire. So, presumably as a stopgap release, we now have the remix album Reanimation.

Yes, that's right -- a rap-rock remix record. Perhaps, if you're a stone Linkin Park fan, you'll want these reworked versions of Crawling (featuring Staind's Aaron Lewis) and One Step Closer (with Korn's Jonathan Davis). As for the rest of it, well, let's just say we spent two weeks listening to this CD one night.

Time to reanimate your songwriting chops, guys.
